We couldn't resist going back to Louisiana for some Mardi Gras fun this past weekend. So Friday we loaded up the car and headed East! I wasn't sure how the girls would handle a parade that didn't start until 7 after sitting in the car all day, but they LOVED it! We were lucky to share the experience with my sister and her children and at the end of the parade we were joined by my other sister's husband and their children. My girls were so excited! Amelia was very much into the parade. When the floats would roll by, she would raise her hands and wave to the riders. When the marching bands passed by, she would march to the beat! Too cute! Isabella was alittle overwhelmed, althought she did enjoy it too. At one point she cried because she couldn't catch the beads.
