Dancing Queens

Last night the girls had their very first dance recital. They were so excited about their 'Big Show". They have been practicing for a Big Show for a few weeks now. Which means that they get all of their stuffed animals and babies and lined them up to watch them and then they creates a stage area to perform. Then they turned on music and danced. However, when I ask them to show me what they will do for their dance recital they respond with "I don't remember mom!".
So I curled their hair, and put make up on their faces and headed for the big show. Which seemed like hours, but in fact was only about 1 1/2 hours long. The girls did a great job. It's really cute to see them on stage dancing to Christmas music with other little ones. At the end of the show they were each presented with a metal!

Before the Big Show, we had our Annual Cookies with Santa neighbor event. The girls look forward to sitting on Santa now and telling him their list of wishes. However, even though they are not 'scared' of him, they are still very cautious on his lap.
