We started the day at the Village Creek parade..and met up with our BFF Avery. The firetruck led the parade to the neighborhood pool where we enjoyed a tour of the firetruck and some pizza and cookies. Although it was about 100 degrees, we managed to enjoy ourselves. After the parade we came home to rest and get ready for our 4th of July party at home with some friends.
We ended the night sitting on the back patio watching fireworks! We had such a great day. The girls really liked decorating the wagon and seeing everyone else's decorated bikes/wagon at the parade. Then they always enjoy playing on our slide with friends. I wish I could get on the slide too..especially when it is SO HOT outside!
