The Baltics continued....

St. Petersburg was definitely the highlight of the trip, but touring around northern Europe was definitely worth doing!  Our stop in Old Town Tallin Estonia was a chance to see another one of Europe's walled Medieval city. Not to sound like European snobs, but we had previously visited other Medieval cities, so that part was not that 'awe inspiring' to us...although beautiful! So we meandered though the cobbled streets, happened upon a street market, had some cotton candy and beers and headed back to the bus to take us to the ship.

The cotton candy was the highlight of the stop for the girls!

Then it was on to Riga, Latvia. Where?? Apparently Latvia is a country!   Riga is the capital of Latvia and is known for it's architecture. There is an old part and a new part and so to see it all we did a Hop on Hop off tour bus. Then we learned, we just like the new part!
The buildings were grand and exquisite! It helps that the weather was absolutely perfect!

A stop at Rockabilly House for a pina colada and a beer...oh and some water for the girls!

And that concludes the Baltic Cruise excursions. The rest of the trip was filled with eating, drinking and pool time for the kids! I've said it before and I'll say it again....I LOVE CRUISING!!
